Terms and Conditions
Interpretation
- ‘Name of Party’ means the person hiring any part of Funzone, its facilities, or a group session.
No person under the age of 18 will be accepted as the hirer.
Charges
- Funzone will confirm bookings for sessions on receipt of a deposit (£50 of the total payment).
- The balance of payment is payable on the day of the party.
Maximum Numbers
- Exclusive hire: maximum 150 people.
Cancellations by the Hirer
All cancellations must be made in writing by the named hirer, giving a minimum of 2 weeks’ notice.
In the event of the hirer cancelling or failing to take up a booked period, the charge shall remain due.
We do not offer refunds for cancelled parties.
The hirer may rearrange the booking for a later date, subject to availability and agreement with Funzone.
Refusal or Cancellation of Bookings by Management
Funzone reserves the right to refuse any application or to cancel or terminate any booking for any reason whatsoever.
All monies paid in respect of a booking cancelled under this condition will be refunded.
However, Funzone shall not be liable for any expenditure incurred or loss sustained, directly or indirectly, by the hirer as a result of such cancellation.
Booking Times and Use of Space
It is the responsibility of the group to arrive on time. Sessions will begin and end at the specified times.
The hirer is responsible for vacating Funzone promptly at the end of the session to allow the next group to begin.
Please note: there may be another party following yours, so you will be asked to vacate the café area promptly, leaving it as you found it.
Safety
In the interest of safety, all doors, entrances, corridors, and exits must be kept clear and ready for use in an emergency.
It is the responsibility of the hirer to inform guests of the location of emergency exits and the procedures to follow in the event of fire or other emergency.
Breach of Regulations
If any booked period of hire is cancelled or terminated by management as a result of a breach of these conditions (the decision of Funzone being final), the hirer shall remain liable for all charges due up to that time.
This is without prejudice to any claim Funzone may have against the hirer arising out of such breach or otherwise.
