Terms and Conditions
For Party bookings
Interpretation
- ‘Name of Party’ means the person hiring any part of the centre, its facilities
or
group session. No person under the age of 18 will be accepted as the hirer.
Charges
- Funzone will confirm bookings for sessions on receipt of payment of
deposit (50% payment) - Balance of payment should be received 7 days in advance of the party date by, cash or card payment ONLY.
Maximum Numbers
Exclusive hire maximum 150 people
Mermaids and Pirates rooms maximum 20 people – per party room. Under the Sea room maximum 16 people.
Cancellations by the Hirer
All cancellations must be made in writing by the named hirer, giving 2 weeks notice. In the event of the hirer cancelling or failing to take up a booked period, the charge shall remain due. We do not offer refunds for cancelled parties. The hirer can rearrange for a later date convenient to both hirer and Sea Life Play Centre
Refusal or cancellation of bookings by Manager
Sea Life Play Centre through the manager reserves the right to refuse any application or to cancel or terminate any booking for any reason whatsoever. All monies paid in respect of a booking cancelled in accordance with this condition will be refunded but Sea Life Play Centre will not be liable for any expenditure incurred or loss sustained directly or indirectly by the hirer as a result of the cancellation.
Booking times and space
It is the responsibility of the group to arrive on time. Sessions will begin and end at the specified times. It is the hirer’s responsibility to vacate the Sea Life Play Centre at the correct time to enable the next group to begin their session. NB There may be another party after yours so you will be asked to vacate the cafe area promptly leaving it as you found it.
Safety
In the interest of safety, all doors, entrances, corridors and exits must be kept clear and ready for use in an emergency, and it is the responsibility of the hirer to inform his/her guests as to the locality of the emergency exits and procedures in case of fire or other emergency.
Breach of Regulations
If any booked period of the hire is cancelled or terminated by the manager as a result of a breach of these conditions (as to which the decision of Sea Life Play Centre shall be final) the hirer shall remain liable for the charges due up until that time, but without prejudice to any claim which Sea Life Play Centre may have against him arising out of such breach or otherwise.
